The Children of Hans and Kristi Hammersland
KONSTANSA HAMMERSLAND grew up and was married. She and her family are still living in Norway (at this writing).
SOLOMON (Sam) HAMMERSLAND came to America and worked as a farm hand. He was married to Olava Lommen of Ossian, Iowa. In 1917 he joined the armed forces and was later sent overseas. He was killed in action at Chateau Thierry, France in 1918.
ENOK HAMMERSLAND left Norway while still quite young. He sailed for many years and became a mate on the ship. He died in February 1923 from flu.
HENRIETTA HAMMERSLAND grew up and was married in Norway. She is still living there with her family.
MATHILDA HAMMERSLAND grew up and married in Norway where she still lives.
